                                The inauguration of school parliament was done by Neyyattinkara Municipal chairperson Smt.W R Heeba in the presence of Vice chairman Mr K. Shibu .School leader Mr Aravind of std XII took the oath as school leader and Mr .Gokul Krishna of  Std X as chairman. In her inaugural address she emphasised the need for healthy competition among students. She cautioned  the students not to involve in bad habits. Such functions would help the students to be aware of our democratic set up she said.Vice chairman Mr.Shibu gave away an amount of Rs 15000 for the Akhina welfare fund for the victims surgery.He urged the students not to forget social commitment of students especially towards poor.The school was declared Plastic Free Zone on the occasion. Principal Sri  N. Sreekantan Nair and Vice Principals Sri.Rishikesh and Smt Vijaya Kumari were also present.
